"As soon as I walked into The George I was welcomed with friendly smiley staff who helped me check in and showed me to my room. They went through dinner times as well as breakfast. I didn't eat breakfast as I was too full up from the dinner the previous evening, the pie was beautiful and the sticky toffee pudding was yummy! My room was of a good size, clean and tidy and en-suite shower room was lovely. I will definitely be booking to stay at The George again when I next visit."

"Motel in easy walking distance to town centre. The room was very hot, so had our windows open and seagulls were screaming from 2am The room was clean plenty of hot water. Bed too soft for our liking so didn’t sleep well. Our door didn’t seem to fit right so had to slam it shut and heard a few more being slammed."

"We hired the luxury pool villa and it was fantastic, even better only 10 steps to the lovely pub where they serve delicious meals. All in all an excellent stay"

"Staff seem to be still learning the majority of there roles with alot of renovations going on. Good comfy beds well situated on many acres of ground and soundings."

"Booked here as a stopover on the way to Thoresby hall from Scotland as it was only a short drive off the motorway. We booked bed and breakfast at a very good price and we also had an evening meal. Both meals were great and the room even had an air con unit which was fantastic in the hot weather. The place was great value for money and we will certainly be back, can't thank the staff enough who were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Well done and we hope to be back soon."

"Was lovely stay in a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was nice with cereals, toast and tea plus of choice of cooked options. The only draw back was the lack of evening food but there were plenty of restaurants close by."

"Arrival was easy, nobody manning reception but was not a problem, key left on the side clearly labelled and clear instructions etc. Room clean and well presented, good amenities, including tea, coffee, fresh milk etc. Room not perfectly blackout with some streetlight coming in round the side of the curtains, and a faint green light from the fire exit sign, not something that bothers me as I sleep with my eyes closed, but some day dreamers might want a blindfold. Bed was clean, very comfortable...

"There were some comments about rooms needing an upgrade so I was a bit worried. However, I got a very spacious room with a large comfy bed, the bathroom had a bathtub and a lot of space for my cosmetics, room was also very well equipped. One downside was lack of AC but at least the window opened. The hotel reception, lounge, bar and restaurant are much updated and really nice and comfortable. Lots of room to spread out and space is nicely designed. Breakfast was also very good, all menues...
