"Please note that the room we were staying in DID NOT have a window. The only light came from the bathroom window. The room was also not in the best shape (outdated) with paper-thin walls. We were able to hear conversations from the unit above. For the exorbitant price that we payed, we expected decent accommodations. Very disappointed with this selection!"

We got an upgrade without even asking, and felt comfortable from the time we arrived. Great location and a terrific place to unwind and reset, even if for a night. I love the fact that you can take the trolley to the Pageant of the Masters, only a block away and down a little hill. The only thing I wish they had was a full length mirror in the room."

"A beautiful historic hotel just steps from the beach and walking distance to everything you need. The room was a surf suite, custom decorated, which was lovely but a bit overdone with furniture which made it a little crowded. The design seemed to be more important than functionality in the room we were in. The staff was amazing, and parking is a rare find, and convenient. We can’t wait to return."

"Disappointed that the hotel really didn't fit the pics on the website. Our king room was cramped and pretty average at best. We've been coming to Laguna for years and this hotel has always been busy and we always stayed across the street until that hotel was closed and renovated after the sale. The location is great and parking is ample and free are pluses. Not much else. Not coming back but it was OK."
