"Beds hard and unable to set air con we had to use a stand alone plug in rad that was in the room to warm room up"

"Room was nice but in need of update, bed base was ripped and cushions were stale and in need of a wash. It was good to have a fully stocked fridge Bathroom was lovely and a good size. Breakfast was good but disappointing to have to pay for fresh coffee. The coffee in the table flasks was not the best. Overall hotel is nice and I have stayed here many times but could do with a few tweaks here and there."

"We had a very comfortable stay Beds comfortable , plenty of tea,coffee and milk + Ribenas. The food menu was excellent as was the food itself "

"We arrived late and checked in. Staff were friendly. The room was very nice, especially for the price. We had a drink and a bite to eat in the bar, which was busy and a lovely atmosphere. Would stay again."

"The most likeable thing about this hotel is the staff. Lovey people, went out of their way to make me comfortable. The hotel could definitely do with an upgrade though, especially for business travel stays. Brilliant for on site parking. "

"I stay in hotels every week for work, and this was the best stay I have ever had. Every member of staff was genuinely friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. I could go on, but honestly, just stay here. You will not regret it."

"Clean room. Lots of parking options if you’re driving. Good food options both inside and outside the hotel. Great breakfast choices. If you’re catching the shuttle, it’s super easy to get there."

"The room was very clean, very comfortable, with quality fittings. Comfortable bed, quality bedlinen, soft towels, helpful host - highly recommended."

"Much better this time, they fixed the fire alarm...... Same issue with the risotto though, too much cheese. This time I was in room 69 and it was still too hot, the curtains don't fit the window and the gaps around the door made it quite light at night. The towel rail was off and the extractor fan was better. "

"I stayed here one night before an early flight from stanstead. The hotel is conveniently located about 5 min drive to the airport. The chap at front desk was friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were both clean as was the shower. The room had tea making facilities and a hair dryer. The bed was not so good very bumpy, you could feel the springs, and parking is not free as stated I was charged £6. 50. Overall ok for a one night stay. "

"A bit surreal, the place was devoid of staff, night or day! The room was clean but tiny and very sparse of comfort, which is OK for one night but does not match the price. Also the name Airport Lodge is deceptive, it is 10' ride by taxi and that was 16 pounds. The following day i tried the local bus but it came 45´ late. At least, it was only 2 pounds. "
