"Firstly, I must say the staff at reception were lovely. We were upgraded as we had a weekend of celebration. This was a lovely gesture and we really appreciated the effort. However, the rooms are very dated and tired looking. I've stayed in other park plaza hotels and this one didn't feel the same. It felt more like a travelodge room. "We didn't stay at the property, as when we entered the 4th floor bedroom it was really hot. the window was open to its 3 inch extent, and there was a tower fan, that had little effect on the heat . The reception staff said that none of the rooms had working air conditioning, so we couldn't change rooms. We decided to leave and find alternative accomodation."

"Parking not included, have to book and pay using Just Park (limited spaces). Only the gym appears to be free, the pool and spa need to be paid for. Queen room was large with a nice deep bath. The room felt a little tired; minor holes in curtains, carpet not in the best condition, bath robes rough on the skin. Only 3 coffee pods in a room for 2 people which was a bit odd.
