"My husband and I loved this resort. We stayed there for our anniversary and even though we flew in the Saturday before Hurricane Irma devastated the island, the hotel and the islanders made sure we had an amazing time. The resort pools and beach are both so relaxing and feel private as there aren't resorts right next door. Tons of local shops, restaurants etc are in walking distance. "The location is super convenient for everything, whether walking to restaurants or getting to other parts of the island.
Room was spotless and well laid out and the views of the Caribbean sunset from the balcony couldn’t be better.
Staff was amazing and on site restaurant was very good as well.
We rented a car and parking was included and secure.
I would stay here again but be warned it can be loud late into the night from the bar across the street. Especially Sunday night ironically. "

"My husband and I enjoyed our stay. St. Maarten overall is absolutely beautiful! It was truly a 10 out of 10 experience. We stayed at the Sonesta Ocean Point View - Adult Only, which was the best decision! It was more peaceful, the rooms were nicer & spacious, and we enjoyed the Adult Only restaurants.
