"Fond Doux felt like a safe haven on an otherwise rough island. Our cottage was cute and clean, the grounds were very pretty and we enjoyed exploring the property. The chocolate making tour is not to be missed. Much of the staff, however is not particularly friendly or efficient. "From the day before I arrived, I tried numerous times to get in contact with this property owner to ask information about checking in and access. The contact number on Expedia was attached to a ex member of staff that left over a year ago, that this started to ring alarm bells. I was worried whether this guest house was genuine and if I would be able to get last minute hotel/ guesthouse if I couldn’t access. "This was a beautiful property for enjoying my last two days in Saint Lucia. Unfortunately I had no power for about 7 hours upon my first day which resulted in me missing my school course online. "Loved our stay! Great food, drinks, weather, property all of it was amazing! One small thing we noticed, their is some seagrass in the beaches there, although they do a great job of cleaning it up. Nevertheless, we will come back again! "
