"The bed wasn’t great. Had a ‘mattress topper’ that constantly slipped during the night because it seemed to be too small for the bed, which was annoying. On 2nd night I wanted to remove it and revealed a very stained mattress underneath. Everything else was ok. If I’d booked a more budget friendly place I’d have been perfectly ok with it, but we paid a lot to stay here for a bit of a treat so it felt a bit disappointing that the room was so average. "I have stopped in some dives over my years but this place takes the biscuit. Half the lights didn't work. No milk in the fridge. The heat pump didn't work properly so it was constantly cold. I appeared the carpets had not been vacuumed. Perhaps they should re-name the Hotel to Paupers gate Hotel. And please hotel proprietors please don't send one of those generic concern responses I'm not interested. Instead you you should take the time to clean up your very poor hotel."

"The location was convenient and good to have onsite parking. The rooms were small but warm and bed was comfortable. The room hadn't been vacuumed properly for a long time. Dust all along the skirting board and carpets around edges. The hallways also hadn't been cleaned or maintained for a while. Didn't have a very welcoming feel to the hotel."

"The rooms were spacious but a little dated. Super handy to have the kitchenette. It was great to have a pool, spa, and sauna. The gym has no specific leg machines, so I had to go to a local gym."

Only gripe was the large number of empty room service trays in the hallway on the way to the room. Apart from that it is a great option if you're tight on time & want somewhere comfy."

This specific room has one window that goes into the hallway where everyone walks along, only covered by s basic blind - not privacy proof whatsoever as the windows looks right into the bedroom. No desk or a chair to place anything on. Not a single towel hook or place to have it dry out throughout the day. Loose toilet seat. This place is fine if you want somewhere close to CBD and just to sleep for...

"Parking was a bit confusing initially but soon sorted."

"While the room and the property was decent enough, the shower in the bathroom was filthy. We ended up scrubbing the walls of the shower ourselves, cleaning off layers of mold and mildew. We never had the chance to discuss it with the front desk as it is really tough to find anybody at the front desk anytime we walked through the lobby. Other than the shower the rest of the room seemed to be decent enough."
