Ease of access and proximity to the downtown core, shopping, restaurants, pier, museum, and cable car. The hotel staff were communicative, friendly, and accomodating. The beds were extremely comfortable and the space was clean and well stocked.

Gimler Hotel was a great Wellington stay. The staff were friendly and even gave us short cut to main shopping district. The location was very central and the amenities in the room were great.

Early morning trash pickup, noisy exhaust fan in bathroom that ran in conjunction with the light switch sounded like a jet engine. The seating furniture was dated and tired (not comfortable). No heat or air controls and windows do not open.
