"The hotel is essentially a leisure complex. The rooms clean and tidy but for a family four small. I was surprised to discover considering the age of the property there was no AC. We were offered fans which were barely adequate. There are no lifts in the property and manhandling 6 suitcases was a challenge. Good onsite parking. The standout of the visit was the staff. Excellent. Also the food was surprisingly good and reasonably priced"

"We were there for three days due to cleaners strike rooms were not cleaned. Front desk attendant was helpful to give us fresh towels and supplies. Parking was not included but was enough."

"Staff were brilliant. Hotel was spotless, Room and bathroom, very clean. Buffet breakfast, cooked and continental was superb, and was constantly being topped up. Free parking was a bonus. Would definitely stay again"

"Nice little place, the reception lady and gentleman were really nice and above and beyond for anything and everything we asked for, also the cleaning lady was an absolute diamond. My only gripe was the chicken pathia was not spicy and way to much fresh tomatoes. Other than that it was a great 2 days stayed."

"The pub was busy and bustling, yet welcoming. Olivia greeted us, smiling and friendly. She was informative and nothing was too much trouble. She gave a really good first impression of the place Breakfast was excellent (Full English and Eggs Benedict). We were once again served by the lovely Olivia. "We loved the service. They went beyond themselves to help us and make our stay the most pleasant they could. We left to early for breakfast on the day of our flight, and they kept more than enough breakfast ready for us at the reception to take with us when we left. They had provided us with a fane as the AC did not work, however it did not really do it's job. There was plenty of towels and housekeeping did an excellent work! "We were supposed to get breakfast included, but the restaurant is closed down and we were still charged the same price."

"The property was brilliant and we will book again. We have family in tbe area and this was a great base for us. One small criticism is the heating. There is only one radiator in tbe lounge dining area and this was insufficient in a cold spell."

"All staff were welcoming and very friendly. Comfy bed. The room smell was too much with laundry or cleaning products that are heavy with synthetic fragrances and gave me a headache in the first hour. Less is more, not everyone can tolerate it. "

"Beautifully clean and appointed accommodation. Host very helpful and friendly. Only criticism is the bed is just a normal double size.. for us we prefer a bigger bed. Lovely seating area by a pond which would have been nice to sit by if the weather had been kinder! Definitely recommend . "
