"I love the Valley of Rocks! It's quirky, friendly, unique. PLEASE don't come here expecting posh hotel luxury. You'll be disappointed. No bar, no breakfast. On the evening I arrived there was no hot water (it was kind of fixed - warm water, anyway - the following day); the lift wasn't working; a broken sash cord in my bedroom window meant it didn't open. "The only thing we didn't like about this hotel was the limited parking at the hotel however saying that the nearby local station (tourist train) is free parking between 6pm and 9am so it wasn't a problem and we paid for an additional couple of hours the following morning at a cost of £2.50. "It was all good but there were two things not so good we were put on the top floor with a narrow staircase approaching 80 for us not good, also our bedroom window rattled which kept us awake the first night before we wedged paper between the windows!"
