"Very noisy hallways woke me up in the middle of the night. Normal speaking voices were easily heard in my room."

"The lake view was the only nice thing. Room had nothin. A bed and small table with chair. No phone to contact office, no fan, no TV, no refrigerator, no internet / WiFi, no in-room bathroom, no sink, no mirror, a detached head board, two flat pillows looked already used."

"Property was clean and room configuration was ideal for my snoring husband and I. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that the walls were not very sound proof at all. The tv in the living area next door could be heard all night while sleeping in the pullout in our living room. I also woke up to the Rocky theme coming from the room on the other side. Regardless, I think I would stay there again for the room layout and cleanliness."

"The property had everything that I needed. It is located conveniently to the local restaurants, Chicago Metra train station, and was close to the Illinois Railroad Museum, which was my primary reason for going here. The room was clean, quiet, and sufficiently setup with the basics like towels and cleansing products. The breakfast bar was setup nicely with foods that I liked."

"I mentioned twice that I was leaving 1 day early and dropped key, but was still charged for extra day. There was no shampoo when I took a shower in the refilled bottles. Then, when reported they took all the towels except one which I used for the rest of the trip as I was out early and back late. Also, the security door was non functioning. Overall, cheap, but crummy. As the only place in town, they could do better."

"I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The complimentary breakfast was good, which was one of the few positive aspects of my experience. Unfortunately, housekeeping was a major issue. My room was not cleaned for the entire week I stayed there. After the third day, I contacted the front desk and was told a request would be entered into the system for my room. The following day, nothing was done. I then spoke with the manager, who blamed a new system update for the housekeeping...

"This was a nice hotel. It was renovated in the spring of 2025. It is not fancy but a clean and nice place to stay for a weekend visit. We needed to be there for a funeral. The hotel is close to restaurants, a grocery store and Deer Park Mall, which is a fabulous open air mall"

"A wonderful family-friendly experience with such kind hosts. They have some ducks that wonder the property and had left lettuce out for use to feed them. The continental breakfast was perfect with warm fresh from scratch muffins in the morning. I would 100% recommend!"
