"Hotel room was nice and clean, spacious enough for the 2 of us, everything was in working order and tea/coffee stocked up. Only down size was the bed, it was nice and big however, made a noise every time you moved and was quite soft compared to what I’m used to but I guess that’s down to preference."

"I liked the edge of town centre location, everything was walkable, the staff were very helpful and friendly The parking was good, but expensive at £11.25 per 24 hours I have stayed in many Holiday Inn Expresses's and the one thing that let this one down was the breakfast, when compared to elsewhere, the breakfast buffet itself was in a very cramped alcove and the selection wasn't that great."

"Very nice location - in a wealthy enclave. Excellent footpath along a canal takes you most of the way into Lincoln (3-4 mile walk). Great pub, decent food. If you want up market restaurants, there are a few within a 5 minute walk in the neighboring area. Quite area, nice and clean."

"First impressions of the hotel were excellent and overall it is a lovely place with generally attentive staff. All was going well and the receptionist said that we were lucky as our room was air conditioned, while others were not. We had been allocated room 6 and on opening the door there was an interesting staircase which split in two at a small landing with one set of stairs going to the bedroom, with the other leading to the shower room. "Very expensive for the type of hotel! We were disappointed no breakfast included in the price The toilet seat was peeling The taps had lost their labels ..disgusting ! In the night I walked by my bed to the the “step into the loo “ and nearly broke my toe scraped my my back on a badly placed wooden and brass door stop We will never visit this hotel again and would like a refund"

"DO NOT STAY HERE. NOT WORTH IT. The staff literally was not there, only available through a hard to hear phone call. My room smelled like weed and cigarettes and there was a dirty sock on smoke detector. My throat hurt after staying for 30min. The walls are paper thin and the parking is atrocious. Parking was like playing jenga with your car. They rejected my refund under their predatory policy and they gave me the run around for 2 days. Horrible service."

"Location was a plus since you don’t have to deal with congested traffic in the city. Free parking an obvious plus. Food was decent. Staff and service very good. The only real negative was one of hygiene. It was noticeable that when customers used the toilet facilities and failed to wash their hands, they would return to the restaurant and handle the utensils stacked in the containers on the table. In future, I would take wipes and clean before using."
