"According to my son and his mate who had travelled from Oxfordshire for a football match the accommodation was everything that was described. The host was super friendly and even took the boys into Grimsby the next morning after my son had lost his car keys at the match 😩 "

"Pleasantly surprised and would highly recommend. Room was spacious and clean. Loved the wines glasses! The breakfast was perfectly adequate and the shared kitchen clean and pleasant to sit in. We paid for carpark and were allowed to leave car the next for a visit of the city. A nice 20 minutes walk along the canal. Host very prompt and polite by text once we had booked. "A really good back street pub, with a choice of local ales (Bateman's among others) decent music, nice beer garden/courtyard for Spring and Summer months and a generally, good vibe. The landlady was extremely friendly and accommodating - no problems checking in a little earlier. Parking permit provided too. Think it was ensuite - large bathroom adjacent to our room. Easy access when driving into Lincoln, but no more than a 10-15 minute (albeit uphill!) walk to the Cathedral, castle and...

"Everything about our stay was excellent. The accommodation was warm, spotlessly clean and the twin beds very comfortable. The room itself was the smallest in the house but we found it more than adequate and were very happy with the space. Our hosts were helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them and they made us feel very welcome. The guesthouse is conveniently situated on the main bus route into the city so, as we did not have a car, there wasn't a problem getting out and...
