Very nice hotel in Bailgate, we will return here on our next visit to Lincoln. A special mention for Chris who located an important lost letter for my wife and sent it to us the next day. The White Hart also has a great restaurant.

Great place to stay, the room was amazing, the bathroom was wonderful. Only slight let down was breakfast as the staff took ages to came and get my order and they start clearing everything bang in 11, without even asking the 2 remaining couples in the restaurant if they have finished. Either then that was great. Had dinner at the restaurant and it was great, the food was tasty, fresh and well worth the money. I will recommend and will return.

Fabulous location and the hotel is great. Staff lovely and couldn’t fault our room. A wedding in the hotel meant lots of music until late on but nothing intolerable. We would stay here again.

The most gorgeous boutique hotel, every area was outstanding, clean and beautifully decorated. Lovely helpful and attentive staff. Superb bedroom, white linen , lovely, very comfortable bed. Super huge shower, with white fluffy towels, and Elemis lotions and soaps. Only wish I had, had breakfast included, and been staying longer.

Our stay was generally good, but spoiled a little by the couple next door who left their dog alone in their room for evening meal time and again at breakfast where it yapped incessantly despite having been told not to leave it alone in their room. There were also some works going on which involved very loud drilling at 8.30am, a warning about this would have been helpful, but when I commented at checkout about this we were immediately offered a refund, which was welcome but not necessary. One thing that caused a problem was that there is a lack of signage to reception, so once you have made your way to your room and want to go back to reception, there is a myriad of doors for you to explore to find the correct one! The hotel is very warm and comfortable and staff were friendly.

Location is good and very friendly staff. Room is dated - pillows are very flat and uncomfortable, hot water is a storage heater and quickly ran out of hot water (not enough for one quick shower and one bath), wifi did not work well at all, and walls got wet after the shower if you didn’t shut the door and put the fan on. Amenities provided were basic but serviceable - it is fine if you plan to only use the room to sleep in, but if you want to spend anytime there then it isn’t ideal.
