"First the room was clean, and the staff is very helpful and friendly. Andrew was particularly welcoming and sincere. Some things I haven’t seen in other reviews: first, if you are in the back of the building, you will hear the train all day and night, second the building itself is older, and in need of repair in places: the A/C unit is very loud, and so is the mini fridge, and third the hotel is not in the best location. "Friendly staff and clean room. Even though I slept well, the mattresses desperately need updating as they were a bit hard and dented in in the middle. Other than that, the shower worked well, the tv had plenty of channels and it was easy access to my room. I did not eat breakfast at the hotel, so I cannot speak to that."

"The best place I have stayed, bar none! Room was good, pool area good. An extra, had an outdoor walled in area with plenty of seating. Greenery and hanging seats. Also sheltered from the sun/rain, areas. Staff was pleasant. Breakfast was par for course. If in area, the place to go."

They were unable to fix the air conditioner problem, which means the air conditioner ran all day and they were unable to turn it off, which could have caused a fire hazard the refrigerator never did work all my food went bad. The air-conditioning was poor because there were people smoking outside and the smoke was coming into the room so it smelled terrible of cigarettes. The property was filthy dirty. "This was my 3rd stay in this hotel. Each time it has been clean, terrific staff, great breakfast, nice beds etc. This is the best hotel in St.Charles. Also great area to walk to shopping."
