"I was hosting at The Hall for Cornwall in Truro which was a 15min drive away. The pub was in a little village called Chacewater and there was a convenient store and fish and chips shop. I was allowed to eat the takeaway in the pub as they had stopped serving food. The room was clear and tidy. I must say the staff and locals were friendly and had a wonderful stay. "

"Our group of four hikers really liked this place. The location is great, the rooms spacious and functional, and the staff brilliant. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent. So, top marks. The only quibble was that the wine choice was extremely limited. "

"I arrived at The Great Western for 5 nights B&B and my pre booked parking space was ready when I pulled into the car park. The lady on reception was welcoming and talked me through the booking in process. My room was on the second floor, and there is a lift or stairs to get there. Definitely easier in the lift if you have bags. I was very impressed with my double room that overlooked the front car park and main road. It was very spacious and clean. Yes, it’s a little tired looking in places but...

"Our room no20,was super warm,so clean and comfy,the dog package was very unique and welcome,and the bathroom spotless,.Parking is easy and plentiful,with E V chargers,the Bar was well stocked,and the food menu was varied and reasonably priced, .we will definitely be going back again, it is a beautiful place to stay, and the staff are very welcoming and knowledgeable of the local area."
