Easy to find, simple check-in and a warm welcome. Room was clean tidy and had everything that I needed. Breakfast was excellent in fact a bit more than I could manage. Location was handy and always someone on hand if I needed anything. When I am back in the area I would definitely stay again

I couldn’t love more this place, It has a “granny house” vibe, absolutely clean and tidy, even the fact we didn’t have a toilet in the room, (which was right in front of our door), toilet was always clean and smelling great! I had also a very nice experience on my arrival as the nice pub downstairs was playing my late father, so I felt that good feeling 💕 BREAKFAST? BEST I EVER HAD IN THE UK for £7

Great local character- clearly a well loved neighborhood place with congenial, family favoured pub! Terrific (large and tasty traditional) breakfast included. One drawback was much softer bed than I am used to. There is a shared bathroom that worked fine for me but might dissuade some. The location between Penzance and Marazion provides easy bus and walking access to both places. (Note that the morning bus is longer than usual due to its routing past local schools.) Access to the beach is more limited than its location would suggest due to the rail line. Overall, a well-priced and comfortable hotel.

I've given this a five star review because although the rooms are fairly basic, the staff are friendly and helpful, the breakfast is good, and the location is brilliant. You're a 5 minute walk from the beach and there's a bus route right outside the hotel that can take you direct to Penzance, Marazion and St Ives (and I'm sure elsewhere, but that's all we managed). It's also incredibly good value for money. So don't expect the Ritz but for what you pay this is a really great place to stay.
