"We stayed for 2 nights in a family room, our room was small for 4 people but had everything we needed. The sofa bed wasnt the best, however we asked for a 2nd duvet to put ontop of the mattress and they were bmvery obliging and helpful. The staff are very courteous and nothing was too much trouble. The room was spotlessly clean. The kids loved the sweets left for them. The filter coffee in the room was a really nice touch. "Overall if you are a dirtbag climber and just in sheffield for a quick trip this place totally gets the job done. Our biggest issues were that there was no shower curtain so the bathroom flooded when anyone showered, none of the bathrooms had soap, and overall just super limited amenities. Also the trash out front was absolutely overflowing and was all over the yard. Honestly would stay again in a pinch, just would come with lower expectations."

I had early starts both mornings of my stay and it was not too much bother for Helen on the front desk and Paul?, the chef to open the kitchen slightly early for me.
