AVOID paying via hotels.com because it caused serious checkout problems... but NOT the fault of The Plough Inn -- WE LOVED IT! "

"We had a lovely two night stay at Losehill. Ideally situated if you want to walk up Losehill or Mam Tor and Edale is a 20 minute bus ride away. The bus can be caught from the bottom of the lane. The service from every member of staff we encountered during our stay was outstanding. The food was excellent with amazing views as you eat."

Nothing was too much trouble and the team chatted to us throughout the evening. Breakfast the following morning was top notch (my particular favourites being the sausage and bacon). I would wholeheartedly recommend a stay in this wonderful establishment if you’re ever in the area,"

"There was no breakfast available but there are plenty of options for breakfast within walking distance. The bed was comfortable and the ensuite was roomy. There was no internet access in our bedroom. Parking is allocated to your bedroom number and is available from book in until about 1.30pm to 2pm on the booking out day. This was ideal for us as we were able to get a last hike in before leaving."

"i booked a standard king bed.however,they use 2 single beds put together.and this causes discomfort because there is a hole in the middle of the bed.an ordinary hotel and should not get 4 stars.housekeeping is not clean.the room still has trash on it floor."
