"Wonderful stay in peaceful surroundings with a great view down into Rotorua. Close enough with a car to all the local attractions but far enough away from the busy town centre. Lovely breakfast, very comfortable room and even managed to find time for the hot tub! Would highly recommend! "

"We loved our time with Louise at Doolan's!!! It is about 15 minutes outside of Rotorua (far from any sulphur smell!). Louise made DELICIOUS breakfasts each morning and the common living area is very spacious with fabulous view. Our room was small, but completely adequate because of the large living space. The bed was quite comfy. The grounds are lovely!!! Louise was a delightful host."

"The house was absolutely beautiful and was situated about 15 minutes outside Hamilton. I have traveled a lot a the hosts were excellent. I got to meet two other guests staying there as well. I didn’t have a tv in my room but it gave me the opportunity to unplug from the world. I did log in using their high speed internet and it was the best of any location I stayed at in New Zealand.
