"The room was spacious and the bed was more than a double, greatly appreciated. The shower, although in the bath, was powerful and the water temperature easily controlled. The TV wasn't huge but a taller guest might knock their head on it as it was on the wall just where I walked round the bed from my side. Staff were friendly and amenable. Breakfast was tasty."

"Have stayed here many times over the years. Staff always excellent, good breakfast offering, clean rooms and comfy beds, handy location for the NEC and dog friendly. The reception areas are fine, but the bedrooms and hallways are looking a bit tired and could do with a refurb or refresh. "

"Room was clean, not too far from the airport or city center. Don't trust the cab company they have at the front desk tho. Was overcharged and taken for a much longer ride than necessary while being lectured on politics by the driver. Stick to Uber instead! "

"Room very clean & comfortable. Plenty of free parking. Easy access from M42 & convienent for NEC. Walking distance. Only downside is there is only one bathroom and toilet combined between the four bedrooms. "

"We found dog food on the floor when we arrived. The view was ok. Should have booked a room with a bath. If you prefer a quality burger you need to look elsewhere they only seem to have the cheap meat style. The staff were nice. Make sure you get service from Cam... Top bloke "

"Fantastic stay with excellent spa and inclusive minibar was great. Lots to do on site. Vietnamese restaurant was also wonderful. Very convenient parking included too. "

"Basic but did the job. No dressing gowns in room to go to the spa. Front of house unable to assist. "

"It was adequate for an evening and bed and breakfast. If we had longer a hotel with more amenities and options would have suited us better. "

"The breakfast was excellent, wide range of food, ordered an omelette that was delivered to our table hot and packed with ingredients. We were let down by the room, could hear passing cars, and faulty air conditioning and bath plug. Was in Birmingham for a convention in The Vox, so only had a 5 minute walk around the lake. Reception and Resturant Staff were friendly and welcoming. "

"The outside of the building and lobby look nice. The room was decent enough but the bathroom let the room down though. Having to turn and sit at an angle cause the towel rack is in front of toilet wasn’t great plus the fan leg was broken causing the fan to keep falling over so gave up using it. Also they do not have an airport shuttle and if you order a taxi you need to meet it away from the property or you’ll get a £5 fee. But my biggest issue is with the person responding to online messages...

"We loved our stay at Hampton Manor. The rooms were so comfortable and the hotel is set in beautiful grounds. The most memorable part were the staff at the hotel. They went above and beyond to make our stay as relaxing and easy as possible. They had thought through all the details that make things extra special. We also asked for recommendations in Birmingham and Beth was incredibly helpful and we loved her lunch suggestion. We would love to return some day! Thank you Hampton Manor."
