"If you go to Bilbao, this is the Hotel to stay. Is Not extremely expensive, but is spectacular in any other ways. Staff is super, everything is very clean all the time and the restaurant is top notch. We came in a group of 5 and had a great time here. Very close to the Old Town center (about 20 minutes walking) Overall, great place to stay."

The rooms are comfortable and well appointed, there are restaurants and coffee shops directly outside for convenience. It is very walkable to the major sites of Bilbao. "So disappointed with our very expensive room with terrace. Bilbao is wonderful and the view from the room was spectacular but there were lots of little details that let the experience down; there was a cigarette burn on a cushion on the terrace chair, another large burn mark on the bathroom sink surround (hot hair tongs?), the planting on the terrace was looking very sad and eaten by bugs, a raucous party on first night in the room next door, scraping sounds of furniture from 6am which were from the breakfast terrace directly above. It’s not what we expected from a 5 star hotel and certainly not for the price. "

"Disappointing- we arrived after the common check-in time and the room wasn’t available. No offer to leave our luggage so we would be able to explore the city. The far in advance provided request of a second duvet, hasn’t been processed and required a reminder. The TV had his on mind and turned on every few minutes also through the night. Informing the staff didn’t change the situation- so we disconnected the television from the plug ourselves. Opening hours of the sauna is too short - only till 20:00. unfortunately not the quality and service i would expected from a five star hotel"

"The location was very good...very clean...and have a laundry that it's a plus especially when you spend a month in Spain...the room with no tv, and amenities was a little disappointing... but for people doing the Camino de Santiago it's perfect."
