We were particularly impressed by the service of Ali, proactive, considerate and detailed to meet our needs, even the unspoken. We had dinner and breakfast in the hotel and found them enjoyable. "

"Comfortable one night stay in the centre of Summertown. The only comment is the tap in the vanity sink needs repair or replacement. The shower cubicle is quite small but just right for my petite stature. "

"We are visiting from Australia and this place is absolutely awesome! Amazing location yet within walking distance to pubs / restaurants and town centre. Incredibly quiet being in a country setting and lots of opportunities for walks by the river. The staff were welcoming and friendly and we were able to have breakfast outside in the lovely garden. We felt well looked after. Highly recommend!"

"When we arrived in High Wycombe, we passed a lovely house with beautiful wisteria blooming all along the sidewalk. We parked, then walked to a pub at the end of the street. After a fun meal in the open air, we left the pub searching for the Malvern House. We were delighted to discover that the wisteria house was indeed our destination. The gentleman who greeted us was very kind and welcoming. Our ground floor room was just right. We stayed two nights, and revised the pub down the street....

"I was a bit flustered when I arrived but my host took it in his stride and walked me through everything. I was especially surprised and grateful for the free top up for my EV as this can be a bone of contention on trips. The only thing I feel could be helpful would be to offer a fan for the room as there is no A/C and it was particularly hot but, apart from that minor issue, it was a lovely stay and I hope to return again soon. "
