Then only issue we had was with the airport shuttle. The shuttle that picked us up said Hyatt Place and we were looking for one that had Laquinta or Wyndham. Apparently, the shuttle covers both places. and LaQuinta was on the side of the shuttle. It was dark and difficult to see. It would have been helpful if we knew that upfront.

Horrible experience. My wife suffers from asthma and room was very muggy. A/C was locked. Went to front desk and they said someone will come to room. 2 hours later go back down and they said A/C was locked for winter. Gave us a table top fan. Also we requested an additional towel set as there was 3 people on reservation(room had 2 queens beds also) only 2 towels in room. They gave us a hand towel and said that is all they have. Next day after full day out from 7am-5pm got back room was not cleaned towels still on floor. Went to front desk they said someone will bring up fresh towels. Hour later went back to front desk. Told us same thing. We went to concert that evening unable to shower. Towels never came! Left first thing the next morning. Horrible experience. Do not stay here. We are very basic travelers. Just expect a clean room with towels. They couldn’t even provide that. BTW don’t try to call front desk nobody answers.

The place inside has been updated but needs care outside. The parking lot had pot holes. There was only one elevator and not very big if you have a person with a wheelchair. Breakfast was good especially the day they had meat. Staff was nice. Rooms are well maintained. The only thing the handicap room was far from the elevator. Otherwise I’d stay again especially it’s so convenient if there is a concert at Allstate arena.

Great place for a one night stay when you miss a flight! Nothing fancy but super clean and comfortable rooms. The only issue was it was a bit stuffy and we were not allowed to control the fan unit/ac. The front desk supplied a box fan which sufficed. Breakfast was basic, but fine. Free shuttle, proximity to a Target and plenty of restaurants. Staff was all friendly and helpful. We would definitely return!

I have NEVER in my LIFE not been able to control the temperature in my own hotel room. We were welcomed into a stifling hot room and when we tried to adjust our room thermostat we only got error messages. Went to tell the hotel staff and were told that the temperature is controlled by the hotel and the only thing they could do was turn the heat off to our room. Well this did absolutely nothing and we were given a BOX FAN to try to keep cool. All this did was blow around the hot air in our hotel. UNREAL!! Whoever made this decision is STUPID and should be fired immediately!!! You cannot expect to keep everyone happy at the same temperature that is WILD!!! People like to sleep at a specific temperature and sleeping in a hot room gave me such bad anxiety I couldn’t sleep!!! I would’ve paid $10000 to sleep in a room where I can control the temperature. If I had known I couldn’t, I never would’ve stayed here!!! STUPID!!!!

I rarely write reviews like this, but I feel it is important to share my experience.
I stayed at this La Quinta by Wyndham property near O’Hare Airport in April 2026.
During my stay, I had an interaction with a front desk employee who completely crossed professional boundaries, making inappropriate comments that made me feel extremely uncomfortable and, more importantly, unsafe as a guest.
This type of behavior is completely unacceptable in any setting, and especially in the hospitality industry, where guest safety should be a top priority.
I reported the incident immediately and was contacted by both hotel management and Human Resources on multiple occasions. During those calls, I clearly explained what happened and was assured that I would receive a formal written follow-up.
However, after those initial communications, I never received any further follow-up or a clear resolution. The situation was simply left unresolved.
This lack of action and accountability is highly concerning, as it creates the impression that this type of conduct is not being handled with the seriousness it deserves, potentially exposing other guests to similar experiences.
As a guest, I expected a safe and professional environment, and unfortunately, this experience significantly impacted my trust in this property.
I sincerely hope the hotel takes meaningful action to ensure situations like this do not happen again.

The property is adjacent to the venue we were planning to visit, so big plus there. Otherwise, the free breakfast was awful. The coffee was not drinkable. We asked for extra pillows and was told there weren't any, and the neighboring rooms had occupants that loved to fight loudly.

AC did not work at all. Was given a fan which did give us moving air but did not cool the room. Thankful it was not extremely hot outside. Kept curtains closed to keep some heat out. Breakfast was nice. Room was clean. One male staff member who worked morning thru afternoon was extremely nice, helpful, remained calm thru the rush of many checking in for a concert.

HORRIBLE!!! Once we first got into our room we noticed that it was cold, we tried to turn on the heater (it didn’t work). We went downstairs right away and was told that maintenance was alerted and were trying to fix it but didn’t know how long it will take. We were given an option of either getting a discount at checkout for the inconvenience or get full refund at the moment but we would have to find another hotel that night. We decided to do the discount, but we at least asked for extra blankets mind you it was late at night already. We never got our blankets that night so we were in the cold the whole night, we had to basically layer up with the clothes we brought. We had to basically ask for blankets again the next morning. We stayed for 2 nights and the whole time there maintenance was never still able to fix the problem. At check out we asked for our discount BUT the general manager said that they can’t do that because we have a third party reservation, so only offered to waive the parking fee. I will never go back here again so much inconvenience and it wasn’t even our fault and nothing to help with some sort of refund.
