"This castle was absolutely lovely. The staff were amazingly friendly and the rooms were very nice and welcoming. We walked the grounds and saw some nice views. I highly recommend the castle dining room. The food was amazing!"

"Beautiful views, excellent food and really lovely staff. After checking in, I ordered food from the restaurant staff. The gentleman who took my order (his name may have been Nigel, his hair was in a ponytail), was so pleasant and his smile was genuine, something that in turn made me smile, not easy after a 30 hour working day. The room was also lovely with views towards Edinburgh and I hadn’t booked anything fancy. In the morning, the buffet breakfast was great with lots of fresh food being...

"Room was good, and I appreciated the small touches. However, the self check-in was a horrible experience. I was unable to check in because my room hadn’t been marked as ready in the system, and I couldn’t contact anyone on WhatsApp or Expedia. I could only resolve the issue and check in after forty minutes when another guest had the same issue, but could contact the host via a competing provider (rhymes with “looking bot from”)."

"We had a lovely 4 night stay here! The staff were so accommodating and super friendly!! They held our bags for us, as we arrived so early, and offfered us early check in for a wee fee. Our two bedroom, two bathroom had everything you need for a comfortable stay. There was a Tesco just a short 5 minute walk up the street and around the corner. City bus were just down from the Tesco. Great place to stay while exploring Edinburgh!! Thanks Staff"
