"The staff was remarkable. Every effort was made for us to have a perfect stay. The food and bar were great. 3/4 of us do not drink alcohol and the bartender had certification in non alcohol drinks! It was so fun for us to be able have fun drinks along with our friends!"

"My room was absolutely lovely! It had a little sitting nook that looked out at Arthur’s Seat. The staff was very friendly and super helpful! The location is right by public transport. My room was ready when I arrived quite early! My only complaint was that they’d run out of venison at the restaurant, and only part of the bathroom floor is heated. I will definitely stay at this hotel again. I highly recommend it! "

It is a bit removed from the hustle and bustle of attractions, but I saw this as a positive and didn’t mind walking where we needed to go."

"The lad at check in was lovely, the property was clean. I stayed with my spouse, the bed was split and wildly uncomfortable. The toilet was so hard to flush I nearly broke my arm. I was woken at 9 am to the sound of a drill hammering through my wall which lasted about an hour. No air conditioning and the room was very hot. The window opened onto the busy street. I wouldn’t personally stay here given the rough stay and steeper price point "

"The Moxy hotels are a bit different as the lobby is the bar and is where you check in. Staff at check in (Melissa?) was friendly and helpful and the lobby offered complimentary water as well as seating areas and games. Our room was small, but clean, but had limited storage; no dressers or closets -- just a small hanging bar. The bathroom was tiny but clean.
