"Best hotel in Venice!! Walking distance from San Marco with lots of dinning options. The ferries are walking distance from the hotel and a very quiet street. The room was very clean and spacious. They also had a great breakfast. Would highly recommend to anyone! "

"The property is in an excellent location, just behind the piazza and easily accessible from the boat bus. It’s nestled in one of those charming Italian narrow alleyways, surrounded by bars, restaurants, and plenty of places to explore. "Great stay. Lots of dining and bar options everywhere. Major attractions are only a ~5 minute walk away. The bed had some sort of mattress topper that was extremely comfortable. We are from the U.S. and most of the hotels we stayed in during this Europe trip had hard beds, but Hotel Montecarlo had the most comfortable bed. "Staff was amazingly kind. After traveling through US I expect a mediocre service environment. These people were so kind, over the top helpful. The property is a converted third generation home and exquisite. Breakfast was not what we expected. It was lacking nothing including fresh everything and cappuccino made for us. "
