"The pool wasn't available in the morning which was a key reason we stayed there. We were told there was a problem with the chlorine but the person to fix it wasn't coming to work until 08:30. We then returned to the room to get showered. We wanted to call reception at 9am to see if the pool was ready but there was no phone in the room! We then had breakfast followed by one last chance to use the pool before checkout. However, the receptionist told somebody next to us the pool is now at capacity"

"The room was very clean but found the bed too small and the pillows too firm, but nice quiet hotel. Not too pleased with the cooked breakfast as it wasn't that hot especially the scrambled egg which had a funny texture and no taste fried eggs would have been better. Expected to see a more professional serving area not the bay Marie's which looked like a temporary last minet adition to resturant. glad we didn't have dinner there"

"Well presented clean room on the ground floor with excellent facilities. Food and drink excellent. Staff were incredibly helpful with any queries, we felt like one of the family.
I have never commented on any other survey before this, so must have have made a very big impression !

"The hotel was very well presented, and the staff at reception were also welcoming. The room was very clean, and had most of the amenities we needed (except a hairdryer). We had food in the restaurant and that was really tasty. The only recommendation I would make to others staying anywhere in Cambridge (besides staying here) is to make use of the Park & Ride, as the council parking is very expensive.
