The staff and service was excellent! Unfortunately, our room ceiling fell through and leaked water on the bed and on the floor - they repaired it that day but it started to leak again, we had to stay in the same room. Also, the construction at the resort is out of control - they work very early and extremely late at night, our sleep the entire trip was disrupted. So sad. Aside from those issues, the beach was great, the staff again, were so kind. We’d try the NYX again, but maybe a few years from now when construction is resolved.

Upgrade via expedia was nice. Rooms look dated but very clean. Wifi was somewhat spotty. Food was above average and the staff were excellent. Only major con were the nickel and dime things such as no free room service or upscale booze options. Would visit again with family. Would skip it as a couple.
