"Friendly staff, lovely breakfast and great location"

"Had a great stay, had a lovely welcome, really comfy bed in a lovely cottage suite (room 11). Had everything you could need for a self catering stay. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. Car parking included was a bonus. Would highly recommend with only a 10 minute walk into the centre of Bury St Edmunds. Would definitely stay again"

"The pub is friendly with good food and staff. The separate block which houses the bedrooms looks boring but the bedrooms inside are incredibly beautiful. I enjoyed underfloor heating in the bathroom and the lovely views of the countryside. "

"The lodging here was so beautiful, small style cabins that are modern with a great view and a small garden out back. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean. The restaurant next to the lodging was amazing, staff were so nice and helpful and the food was delicious. I will definitely be coming back."

"Could not find a fault, from the welcoming of the reception staff and the efficiency of all staff members. A special thanks to the lovely lady on reception who bought me some slippers when I'd forgotten to pack a pair of shoes (laugh) to the lovely breakfast waitress - all found time to smile and have a conversation. "Honestly could not fault this place at all. Staff very welcoming and attentive. If things were not available in your room they would be more than happy to help and provide eg. Iron and Iron Board. The breakfast was amazing and the fresh pastel del nata was even better than what I’ve had in Portugal! 10/10 recommend "
