"Very comfortable and welcoming place! A real hidden gem not too far away from the city. The house and property and gorgeous, the breakfast is big and delicious, and the programs that they run are great. I attended a Reiki circle that I found very helpful and relaxing. The shiatsu massage chairs are also excellent. I would return and I will recommend Rising Star!"

"Loved everything! Never done B&B and I think I was spoiled. Spacious room, Nice bed, pillows, lighting, t.v, jacuzzi tub, or shower and an eclectic mix of items and paintings/photos to look at. Also you will not get breakfast like that at a hotel. Served when YOU are ready to eat. My kind of place. Martin and Petra are kind and direct hosts. If they were all like this I would NEVER stay in a hotel again."

"The main problem is the round (not elongated) toilet bowl and its inconvenient location (too close to the wall). A strange case of hot water on the right and cold on the left in the faucets."

"Didn’t know that there was a 3rd curtain to block out the lights from outside. Had to use bulldog clips to make it dark enough but that also blocked the a/c."

"This bed-and-breakfast was wonderful. Very high-end linen, towels and finishes. It was clean. It was beautiful and Rose was so accommodating and lovely. I would highly recommend you stay here. Food was wonderful too."

The room was a great size and clean with a really comfortable bed. Having access to a pool was great. I didn’t use it but the gym looked well equipped too. "Our room was spacious and bright with excellent blackout curtains for night. Bed comfortable with bed linens and comforters that are fully washable (no worries who or what was previously on the bedspread 😉.) Room well maintained.
