"On the one hand, I feel bad, as this property is maintained by what seems to be a small family of perhaps three people. On the other hand, the quality of the property is seriously questionable. The property is older and has been poorly maintained. The television in the room didn't work. The air conditioner leaked all over the floor overnight with condensation. When checking out, I tried to locate a member of staff to alert them to the AC issue, but no one was around, even when I rang the bell...

"Fantastic chill place to break up a cross-county road trip with kids. We fit in an evening detour to Galveston before heading back to the motel to do laundry while the kids enjoyed the pool. Also conveniently near a supercharger."

"This is a road side motel located off the service road of 45. Facilities are in need of MAJOR repairs. Floors are filthy in the room, rust on everything metal, holes in the walls, peeling bathtubs.. The air conditioner rattled all night and the train runs directly behind the hotel, so there’s that to listen to early in the mornings. Very disappointed for the price I paid. "I arrived to “we don’t have a room available” I had booked this weeks in advance. Walking in it smelled like cigarettes and filth. The staff was not very friendly, did not greet us upon arrival and didn’t try to help us. Person, I believe the one in charge said “I tried to call you, but there was no number” hmm how did you try to call if there was no number. Must have been a blessing in disguise because I can’t imagine the rooms were any better."

"It was not even as nice as a Motel 6. Rooms were small. The beds were made up but they didn't change the sheets. Blood spots and semen rings. And they tried to drop off new sheets expecting me to change them. The outdoor shower to rinse off the sand from the beach was broken. The pool was green. The only good about the hotel was it's location. Right across the street from the beach at a crosswalk."
