"The Auberge Hotel is a very nice hotel with comfortable beds, fantastic views of the mountains, the bay and on a clear day you can see all the way to central city. I however found the front desk unhelpful and unprepared at times. From check in, room change to checkout. I am familiar with Discovery Bay but at points had questions about transportation and it was met with subpar information. I had questions about dining and there was no clear answer on I my simple question on breakfast times....

"Great place to stay! I had a long layover and chose this hotel for one night, however I would’ve stayed longer if I could. It has a great view of the ocean, beautiful surrounding landscape, and close by shops and restaurants. No problem getting a taxi to and from the airport."

"Location was great. Property was great. Down side, food expensive and nothing outside closes. Delivery not able come to property. Our room had smell in bathroom of sewer, gas from floor drain. We filled plastic bag with water covered it solved the problem for us. Over all loved the experience, just didn’t look at food bill until get home."

"This is not my first stay here. In fact, I choose this hotel every time I visit Hong Kong. The service has always been consistently excellent. The front desk staff are friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The airport shuttle service is convenient and reliable, making travel much easier. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Every stay has been a pleasant experience, which is why I keep coming back. Highly recommended!"

"I stayed simply because I had a 13 hour layover. With the instructions, the place is not hard to find. The host was very very helpful, even when I was late for my check-in. He carefully explained to me how to use the amenities and even how to take the bus back in the early morning for the airport. He’s very knowledgeable on local transportation. I would definitely stay here again. One thing, though, I was only travelling with a backpack, so it wasn’t too difficult to walk through the forest...

"The hotel was wonderful. Anyone thinking about staying should go ahead and book it, you will have an amazing time. From the moment we checked in to the moment we finished our stay, the staff were all very welcoming, friendly and keen to help wherever they could. The facilities at the hotel were excellent. We ate in both restaurants and the food offerings were delicious. The swimming pool and surrounding area was well maintained and the pool was always a welcome retreat during warm days. The shop...
