"We booked a room at the Inn as a last minute stop while driving across Canada. I only wish I had stayed a few more nights at this unique timecapsule of an Inn. Don was a perfect host full of tales and had a subtle style of staying in the background while getting fellow travellers together. "

"The room was clean and comfortable with a nice patio overlooking the water. We had a snafu at check in when we were assigned to a non-dog room but I had booked for 2 adults and 2 dogs. The young lady at the desk was super helpful and got us into a great room on the first floor near a door. We were only there for one night but I would definitely return for multiple nights if we are in the area again. "

"The full breakfast was a welcome surprise. I somehow didn't notice it when I booked the hotel. The food was very good. Really liked the updated decor. Overall, very quiet at night. Staff very friendly. The only thing was that the beds were a bit soft but since we only stayed for one night, it was fine. It would also be great if they could add a mirror to the room so that one can use it when the bathroom is occupied."
