"Rooms are clean and modern "

"The room was clean, I had a king size bed which was very comfortable. i found it strange that there was a desk in the room but there was no chair to sit at the desk in order that I may utilize my computer. I had to sit on the bed and use the end of the desk (short side of the desk) to position my computer. The space where the chair would have gone was occupied by a small bar fridge that was located below the desk. Perhaps the layout of the room was not suited for a king size bed? The staff were friendly and accommodating."

"Breakfast service was top notch once again. Instay over 100 nights yearly and service here is best by far. Now older hotel but clean safe and spacious. Like the proximity to casino and walking to good restsurants. "

"Staying in Thunder bay for 2 nights. Really nice updated clean and open rooms (no carpet). Very clean and comfortable. Us and Canadian TV. Clean elevator and hallways. Staff friendly helpful and accommodating. Ate breakfast and dinner at the restaurant - reasonable prices and good food! Excellent pancakes, eggs and burgers and soup. Deserts! Full bar at the restaurant and open long hours. Servers were great. Would definitely stay there again!"

"First time staying at the Howard Johnson I found it a 5 out of 5 Service was friendly and professional we had 2 queen sized beds the room was spacious and very clean the bathroom was clean and I love that you provided shampoo conditioner and body wash the water pressure in the shower was not what I was used too it was too low Also I would not use the candy or bottle of water dispenser as it over charged my cc but in spite of that I would stay again and I would recommend this hotel"

"Great location near the highway, but not loud. Good restaurant on site. Check in went smoothly. Room is clean and good heating unit. No complaints. "
