"The property is lovely and the room was very comfortable, however, in my opinion, the hotel should invest in nicer towels and provide glassware, utensils, basic kitchen items for the suites. We have enjoyed there and hope that the management the towels etc as mentioned. They are terrible, to be honest. The food selection and coffee is great! thank you so much,"

"We booked a king room but when we got there they immidiatly gave us a queen room. I said we did book a king room. She said i made a mistake and booked a queen room. I showed her my reservation that said king on it. She was very snippy and said there are no more king rooms. We pulled up the hotel web sit and the web site said they were advertising king rooms. No resolution even when asked for manager. Bad hotel"

"For those of us who do not like the big chain hotels, this Inn was a gem! It was clean, a great location with kind and accommodating staff. The patio ocean view was perfect with stairs to a cove one block away. The pool was clean and warm, and the incredible fragrance of the rose trees greeted us each time we went through the doors into the central garden area. Delightful!"

"Was slightly tired feeling hotel. Room smelled musty and construction happening across the road. It’s a short walk to the beach to see the beautiful sunsets in La Jolla. The location is slightly far from the restaurants in La Jolla. "

"Upon arrival patient the lobby looked great. It was clean, and it was nice that they had an in-house bar and restaurant. Our room wasn’t ready yet, but they allowed us to leave our bags, which was very convenient and appreciated. Once our room was ready, we were a bit disappointed to see that the restroom was not the cleanest. There was only half a roll of toilet paper left, the shower head had visible buildup, and the shower itself still had leftover soap residue as if it hadn’t been wiped...
