"Beautiful location and wonderful pool bar. The room was relatively clean, but the carpets need some attention. Parking was difficult as guests compete with parking from those who use the same parking lot to see weekly concerts on the property."

"Thanks for all the help from your staff! I really appreciated the ground floor room. There was a little trouble with the key cards on the outside doors - one door did not work at all, and the other worked only after many many repeated swipings of the card. I hope you can fix this problem soon. Otherwise - an excellent place to stay. Breakfast was also much appreciated! See you next year :)"

"The AC was not functioning and no one was notified after booking to give people an opportunity to rebook somewhere else. My room was then switched to a room with a portable AC unit that was duck taped to the window and kept falling off. The window had to be opened the entire time which let in a bunch of noise. However it was clean and the balcony and courtyard was well maintained. The food in the restaurant wasn’t the best either but it was quick for a small kitchen."

"The place is recently renovated. Room was clean, staff was helpful and nice. Parking is not great, the refrigerator did not work. No wash cloths for shower. Just an okay place to stay for one night.."

"I love this hostel and have been using them for a few years now. Unfortunately, I've noticed a decline in the cleanliness during my last few stays. A few of the bathrooms, including the stalls in the women's restroom, were out of toilet paper. I'm not sure what changed but I do recall they had a cleaning crew that would clean the hostel in the mornings. Not sure if that is still being done."

"We loved the Inn at Sunset Cliffs! The location is right on the ocean, with local businesses nearby. The inner courtyard of the Inn was gorgeous with all of the flowers and plants. Our room was a great size, very clean, and even had a microwave and mid-size refrigerator. The staff were all so friendly and helpful! When we return to San Diego, we will definitely stay there again!"
