"Absolutely nice hotel with all modern amenities, nearest to IGI airport, easy access to the hotel. Staff is wonderful they helped us to arrange a cab to the airport. Restaurant service is also good. "

"It's a small hotel on a back street, only a short walk from the Moalboal bus stop (5 minutes). rooms are spartan and the usual Philippine combo shower toilet. The window-mounted A/C sounded like a 737 at take-off, but you could hear the conversations from the house next door if you didn't run it. The local roosters (next door) will give you great entertainment (not) all night as they squawk at each other. It is a 10 min tr-cycle ride to the tourist part of Moalboal and the sardine swimming."

"It was indeed a great stay! All the staff are very friendly and so accommodating. Special mention to Ate Joy and the other front desk Ate (I can't remember her name) Kuya (the night shift duty all around the staff. They were all helpful in assisting me to use the facility for working at night in the lobby area. Looking forward to staying at Novies but this time with my family. Novies is a safe, clean place, with easy access to almost everything. Thank you for a great stay!"

"The staff here is absolutely wonderful. They were so kind and helpful. We had one of the smaller rooms, but still way more spacious than something in Tokyo within our price range. The room and private bath were so beautiful. We ordered the Japanese dinner and breakfast and it is a must if you stay here! You’ll try foods authentic to Nara specifically and the amount you receive is more than plenty. Would highly recommend this stay to anyone even for just one night, as that is what we did to relax...

"Old fashioned and very atmospheric. The staff were accommodating and friendly. Chinese decor in the rooms. Located at n a quiet Hutong alley between two main streets that are full of dining options. Recommended!"

"For the price this place is perfectly okay. The two little pools and the grounds are lovely. The gardens were nice. In terms of the room it would be better if the AC unit was facing the bed or a cieling fan was added it became very hot expecially if the mosquito net is closed. Keep in mind it is a small double bed so could be small for a couple. There was some road moise and construction noise. Suggest to pack ear plugs and eye mask. Location is really great though. "When we got there, we were offered a different room with a better view so we had to accept. All the staff are very friendly and the breakfast in the morning was amazing! They have a restaurant that gets quite busy and they offered us priority seating since we were guests of the hotel. The room was very clean and cozy and the bathroom looking fantastic! The location is also perfect because everything is so close by. If you plan on visiting the area, this is DEFINITELY the right hotel!"

Pros - location is great - next to namyeong station, easy buses to Seoul station - Pub area so busy at night with lots of young university crowds - Rooms are clean and beds are comfy - Washing machines! - Kitchen with water filter - so you can refill bottles Cons - Flies everywhere downstairs- avoid getting a room on main floor, it’s gross - Dirty reception area with a ton of flies all the time - Small washrooms...

Their room and food would have been acceptable at half the price. I recommend you stay elsewhere and only drop by for some sake tasting."
