"Check in could have been better. We arrived early and was told we would be notified when our room was ready but no one notified us. I had to check again on my own after waiting for hours in the lobby. Room was clean, but the bathroom door handle came off when I tried to close the door, the sink had a poor drain, elevator didnt work, no ice machine nearby you have to go to lobby to request ice, and no microwave anywhere on premises. "The room is so cute and comfortable. The balcony was lovely to enjoy our time at after a day exploring the town and to start our mornings with. The breakfast is fantastic. It's technically Continental but it's local coffee as well as local pastries & bagels + many other great options so it's a great way to start the day. The location is lovely. It's a little out of the way from the main strip but it was quiet and peaceful & close enough to walk to most things we wanted to do."

The room was cleaned well, bathroom, floors etc. were in good condition. The issue we had was a lack of hospitality and attention. The person at the desk taking care of guest service, check in etc needs more training in how to address people in the hospitality industry. Very impersonal and unfriendly. "Stayed three nights in July with an all adult group. Great staff and great breakfast. Hotel worker every morning making omelettes outside during breakfast hours. Quite a hit with the group I was travelling with. Rooms a little smallish, but tastefully decorated and well maintained. Hotel exceeded expectations. Maybe 10 minute walk to Duval Street or Hemingway House."
