It is a lovely small boutique hotel. Very clean. The neighborhood was quiet. We slept great every night. Song Birds woke us up a few mornings. The airconditing was great other days. The lift seemed always to be waiting at our floor and was quick and nice after walking miles everyday.
It is not a regular hotel in that no one is in the lobby you use an electronic key to get in from street and another for your room.
The coffee machine made expresso's and hot cocoa for me and there were tea bag's and a hot pot to do tea yourself! All nice.
The shower had instant hot water for weary legs.
We kept yogurt in the lobby fridge for a quick breakfast.
The garden area was nice.
Our top floor shower had a leak problem that worried me, but it didn't really cause us issue.
The last morning, there was an issue with the electronic key and we were locked out of our room at 7:45, With all our things in the room! However, after thoroughly panicking and texting and calling about the third call he picked up and was in the lobby in minutes! And he was able to get us back in our room.
So, it is unique. Very nicely done, in a nice location. But with a few glitches. Because we stayed a week when the other affordable hotels were already booked! We were very happy with what we got for what we paid, but... there is a reason it is a bit less pricy.
