Clean! Staff are wonderful. The beds, pillows and size of the room give it a 3 star. The pillows need updating and need to be bigger, the beds on wheeels??? Rolling around while trying to sleep has us in stitches. Overall great hotel but beds needs updating.

This property was conveniently located next to shops and dining but the hotel needs renovation, the windows are thin and we heard every conversation that was had and every car that drove by. The mattresses were horrible and woke up feeling achy, even with the 2 inch foam. The bathrooms were also very small and the wood floors were dirty, when walking barefoot. Not the best comfort experience, but if you don’t mind simple comfort, the location is great!

This was a great place to stay in Amsterdam if you want to be close to the museums and restaurants. It was clean, and the staff was accommodating. It was a little noisy outside in the evenings with street cars and people. We visited in July, and with no air conditioning we needed to keep our windows open. Overall a good place to stay.

This hotel has bed bug infestation. We realised the first day and they did refund us the booking fees. However, when told the staff about it, they replied with a “sorry” and not even looked surprised. Didn’t also want to check the room to see if there really are bugs. I was really shocked that they knew about this and still didn’t do anything about it before giving us the room. Stay away at all cost. Seems they don’t care about the health and safety and just want to make money. We also had to throw away some clothes, which the hotel has not compensated for, although the reception said they would ask the manager to contact us.

I had a very pleasant stay. The staff were very friendly. The room wasn’t spacious, but it was clean and comfortable. The only downside was that the small table had a valuables box placed on top, so I couldn’t use it as a desk for working with my laptop.

Solo museum trip

Great place to stay if you want to wander around museums and eat good food. Rooms very clean but a bit tired. Lovely breakfast and nice staff!

The Perfect Stay

The staff was wonderful. We arrived with a bouquet of tulips which they put in a vase for us. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and had a wide selection of items. The best scrambled eggs ever. The woman running breakfast was welcoming and we felt like regulars after a day. Breakfast very reasonable and convenient. Location central to the museum quarter, literally around the corner from the Rijksmuseum. Excellent Indonesian restaurant across the street (make reservations).

Bedbugs! Do not stay here! After 3 nights in this hotel I came back home with bedbug bites in my arms and neck. The first night I noted the sheets were not really clean, but I was very tired and didn’t care. The next night I saw the comforter was dirty and after the third night I saw the bites in my arms and neck! The only good thing was the location, but I do not recommend this hotel, there are more in that same area. Also, they don’t have AC, and in summer you need to leave the windows open and that area is very noisy, so overall it was an unpleasant experience.

It's easy to find and location is convenient to transit and dining. Hotel has elevators which is great. Room is small but that seems like an Amsterdam thing in general. Bed was comfortable.
