"The hotel was great! They upgraded us to a suite. Front desk was friendly and gave excellent directions for parking and finding our room. We used the pool it was clean and we enjoyed it immensely. The free food was really good. Taco bar hot dogs chicken tortilla soup. Three free drinks from a good selection. Breakfast was awesome too. Manager Aaron stopped at our table and visited with us. "Hotel built in 1909 but was updated and has 2 elevators and valet parking. Room was spacious and clean, breakfast options and coffee were great. Fantastic location, 1 min walk to The Alamo, 5 min to Riverwalk and all the restaurants and shops there. Would definitely stay there again"
