"This is an excellent hotel for any stay but particularly if you are passing through Cairo. We arrived mid afternoon and checked out early the next day for a flight. The location is super convenient as you can walk from the terminal. The staff are attentive and friendly. The pool is refreshing and the restaurant buffet for dinner and breakfast had a great selection. The rooms were clean and we had everything we needed. Would stay here again and highly recommend it. "

"At first from the other reviews I was expecting the worst. But honestly for a night or a transit, I think this is the best option in Cairo and I’ve been flying there for work for past 10 years (so I know it can be really great or utterly decrepit!).
The rooms are clean, comfortable, have all you need. The staff is efficient and do their jobs. Housekeeping was a joy - MARWA WAS THE BEST AND WENT THE EXTRA MILE FOR EVERYTHING!
The breakfast was very good with fresh tamiya (Egyptian fellafel)...

"My husband and I stayed 2 nights at the Waldorf Astoria Cairo Heliopolis. The service was excellnt from check in to check out. "Staff were very polite and helpful. Room was spacious and clean. Can be noisy at night due to activity in ground floor restaurant and outdoor patio. Breakfast options are limited and redundant. "This hotel is the perfect base to explore the Pyramids at Giza and Saqqara. We used their personalised entrance service to go directly to the pyramids without the usual entrance way which was nice - it’s not a glamorous entrance mind, but it’s very convenient. We also added the additional tour guide option which made exploring the site much more efficient as well as learning a few extra nuggets of local knowledge and historical insight.
