The hotel is dated and the area around it looks like a bomb site with stray dogs and closed or half finished buildings. The hotel did what I wanted which was to offer a clean room and the breakfast was very good.

I recently stayed at Sun City Hotel near Cairo International Airport, coming from London, and I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The location is ideal, especially for travelers looking for quick and easy access to the airport, which is just a short drive away. The service at the hotel was excellent—the staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and always willing to assist with any requests. From check-in to check-out, I felt warmly welcomed and well taken care of. The hotel also offers great amenities, making it a comfortable stay for both short layovers and longer visits. Overall, I would highly recommend Sun City Hotel to anyone looking for a convenient and pleasant stay near Cairo International Airport.

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel despite being skeptical at first. The rooms are big, spacious and most importantly very clean. The beds and bedsheets are super comfortable so that was a plus! While the hotel is old it seems to be properly maintained and the staff are very very friendly. Breakfast choices are limited but they offer different types to basically suit all customers. If you are looking for a hotel close by to the airport this is in my opinion the best option in terms of value by far I've previously stayed at the Novotel hotel next to the airport and the rooms were depressing, dirty and smelled like an ashtray. Also the amenities provided are fantastic! Loofahs, body lotion, conditioner, slippers, blow dryer - you name it!

This is a 2 starts hotel

This hotel is okay ONLY if it has 2 starts rating. This is absolutely not a 5 stars hotel. I didn't enjoy my stay here for many reasons: - Room service is not doing a great job and I had to ask for my towels to be changed apparently these are not automatically changed despite being stained - The pool is nice but anyone can purchase a day pass so it was always crowded and full of strangers - good luck finding a sign that indicates this is a hotel - The mall next to the hotel has very very few stores open and the supermarket is closed too The breakfast is not that good though

Location to airport great but by no means is the hotel 5 star!!! Barely 2-3 maximum. Very dated. Dirty. Carpets in rooms not cleaned in a while. BEDS…. Hard as a rock and worst sleep ever. Roof top pool pictures you see where probably from when it first opened…. Now it’s awful and very dirty. The adjoining mall closed down after Covid so nothing is open apart from a movie theater and a cafe.

A dump, avoid it

It's a very dated hotel and I fail to see how it received more than 2 stars. I wouldn't not recommend this place at all. Firstly the signage is virtually non existent and although it's close to the airport as the crow flies, it's a long drive through some pretty rough places. The service at the restaurant is shocking and the rooftop terrace is the worst I've ever seen. They must have employed a very creative photographer. I asked about an airport shuttle and was told to book a cab. There are much better and safer airport hotels nearby who offer a shuttle service.
