"Large clean room, really helpful staff and excellent location . Did everything we needed as a base for 3 nights really well, and the free breakfast whilst limited did a job. The lifts to the higher floors were incredibly slow, and on departure one wasn’t working which meant we had a 25 minute wait to get down with all of our cases. Towels, chairs and boogie boards for the beach were really good and free. Didn’t use the pool but the area around it was clean but not very glamorous"

"Hotel was very clean and all staff were friendly. Location was perfect. One of the best breakfasts we've ever had that was included with stay. When I was looking up rental car companies before our trip, I was surprised to find there was one on this property. Very easy as office was located in main lobby. As long as car is turned in by closing time which was 9 pm, they would park car without hotel parking fee. Definitely recommend."

"The room was gorgeous! Bravo for the elevated and tasteful decor. The exterior does need a little facelift here and there as it is an older hotel, but there is a "classic," old Hawaii charm about it. Bell Attendant was a bit pushy when we did not let him take our bags before check in - asking repeatedly - when guaranteed check in was only 30min out. Other than that, the staff at the Veranda was so nice and cheerful and dinner at Arancino was amazing. This is a great option to stay outside of Waikiki."
