"SomaPalmshore is an amazing place to stay if you just want to chill out for a while. The people are first class and were always there to help. The garden and pool are really clean and well maintained. The beach at the bottom of the garden feels as if it's private because so few people go there. Sunset from the rocks will melt you. "

"The condition of the hotel and rooms were terrible, the pictures given in your website is too old. May be they have pictures taken when the facility was new and clean. I booked two rooms for Myself (including my infant son)old parents but when I went in to the room, it was such disappointment. Both rooms got Lots of mold,no proper housekeeping (even worried about bedbugs), old furnitures. Plus rude and irresponsible reception staff. "Very old rooms, water not coming in bathroom washbasin, sometimes no water in commode. Lot of construction happening in the hotel. Limited vegetarian food choice. "

"Wirklich schöne Anlage, jedoch rein auf Ayurvedische Anwendungen ausgelegt. Wir hatten kein "Paket" gebucht, wollten vor Ort nur Massagen. Das stellte sich als sehr problematisch dar. Es gibt ausschließlich Tee und Wasser zum trinken, kein Glas Wein zum Abendessen. Diese Anlage könnte genau so in einem beliebigen anderen Land sein, von Indien bekommt man nicht viel mit. Wer keinen medizinischen Aufenthalt mit (Sicherheit) sehr guten ayurvedischen Anwendungen, möchte, sollte etwas anderes...

"It is a place full of character. Delightful staff (limited English with some did not take away from their kindness and personal care). The building is all traditional Kerala, lots of dark wood, and a very amusing lift playing Tamil music. My balcony faced the fires of coconut palms, with birds occasionally calling out, but the dominant sound was the breakers as the beach is 20 metres down the lane. The room was spacious and comfortable: a bit old fashioned so this is not a modern smart...

"The hotel has a perfect view it’s so beautiful. From the moment I arrived to the moment I left it was amazing the staff were so welcoming and kind. They will do anything to help you. The only weird thing was when my friend came I had to pay additional for him(maybe this is common in India) but other than that this place is perfect accomodation perfect staff and perfect location"

"This property sits back from the beach about 100m, making it quiet and peaceful, with many birds singing in the morning. The bed was cozy and the bathroom was clean. This is a great stay for a budget hotel. Kovalum Beach is really scenic as well."
