"We had an ocean view that was beautiful. The sound of the waves was pretty loud all night. The pool was really nice but getting a lounge chair was challenging. The grounds were landscaped and kept up very well. We enjoyed the breakfast and lunch buffets. There was an abundance and variety of food. The onsite restaurants were average to good."

"The suite was very nicely appointed, spacious and inviting, a broken slider screen door though and the niehborhood was a little noisy late at night. Complimentary breakfast was prepared fresh for us, our choice and delicious! Staff very helpful and friendly"

"Overall i give the resort 8/10. Location was perfect. 3-4 minute uber ride to the marina. Mango deck is literally a block down. Would i return and stay here? Probably would do so again. Rooms are huge for the price. Kitchen was well equipped with all the essentials"

"This is a lovely property on the historic square in San Jose. This small hotel is beautifully landscaped and well maintained, with a small dip pool in the middle. The rooms are very clean and modern. The bar overlooks the patio, and the wait staff are attentive."

"The rooms and food were great. The service was very ok. At Comal the food was very slow and they never checked in for drink orders or to fill waters. Not a great experience for a 300 dollar dinner. Same thing at breakfast. The pool service didn’t clear chairs when people left. The service got better towards the end but overall was disappointing for the price. One and only or las Ventanas are much better places to stay. "

"We arrived by Uber. The property has a no Uber policy. We were dropped at the gate. The gate agent seemed flustered and didn't offer us a solution to being dropped at the bottom of a hill in 90 degree temps with luggage. We requested a ride. He had to call twice before a ride arrived. Took maybe 20-30 minutes. Once inside we registered and were immediately solicited for a timeshare presentation, which we declined. We arrived in our room. Very musty smell. I noticed black mold on the ceiling of...

"All the staff were great! Only staff issue was with pool bartender, Leonardo, who needs some customer service training. Rooms were clean, restaurant was fabulous, very peaceful by the pool. Flowers and plants are gorgeous (great gardeners). There was an issue with the bill checking out (charged twice), which they rectified. Unfortunately, they have put a second charge through without any explanation or communication. This is very disappointing."
