"My wife and I loved this hotel and would stay here again in a heartbeat! Beautiful room, incredible amenities, beautiful balcony overlooking the river, which was great to hear at night through the open door. We look forward to coming back."
"Hotel right on waterfront path (one of only a few hotels lakefront), walking distance to train station (<1km) and bus station nearby. Is about midway between 2 lake ferry pickups, nearby grocery, convenient, and restaurants. Safe and quiet when no festivals next door. Huge balconies with lounge chairs and table/chairs with lake view/sunset views, rooms large, found prpoerty very clean and all staff friendly/helpful. Will stay again."

Trek through scenic Alpine meadows and climb up the Mountain of Mountains, which is among Europe’s tallest rock formations, looming over the resort of Zermatt.
Zermatt has been a dream destination and did not disappoint. We were there in October, between the busy times of the town so it was quieter. Some family businesses were closed and gone for holidays between high tourism. Found no issues due to this.

Excellent
No shortage of skiing options, we didn't really need the Italy extension. Mountain restaurants are expensive and some only take cash so be prepared. Consider booking restaurants in town, we were turned away from 5 or 6 on a Friday night.

Zermatt is a very cool ski town with great restaurants and shopping. It's also very easy to get around in this car-free town. The red and green electric buses go from one end of the town to the other every few minutes.

Zermatt is one of the nicest villages you could visit. It has lots of beautiful shops and restaurants and lots to do. We were there for skiing, but I'm sure it's just as nice during other seasons.

Yes take the gornergrat train to the top for views. Stop at ritelalp and pass the hotel there to the cozy mountainside restaurant for a great spot to relax

All around perfect. Quaint fairy tale village straight out of a Hallmark movie. We loved every minute of it and miss it dearly.

Loved the lack of traffic around Zermatt, electric vehicle only from hotels and their supply partners.

Zermatt is amazing -- beautiful, international, vibrant. Don't expect a cozy little mountain village as it is very developed although with great thought and consideration for the history and the impact of so many visitors.
"Beautiful setting and our room had a spectacular view of the Matterhorn. Room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was great. The spa and outdoor pool were much enjoyed."
"Great place to stay, large modern clean room with balcony. Located in the heart of the town close to train station and shopping Staff was excellent, breakfast buffet had plenty of options and after noon coffee, tea and pastries in the afternoon was a nice surprise. Will definitely return"
"This location is excellent and the train station is across the street, (I never heard the train). The green line bus stop is about a 30 second walk, while the heart of downtown is located a couple of minutes from this hotel. The rooms were clean and my hostel bed was configured in such a way that it was very private. I would stay here again!"
"Affordable, clean and easily accessible from Zermatt main village - around a 15min walk. Only negative was I didn't think the breakfast was good value. "
"Great location, friendly staff, breakfast is not best in class but decent, hotel has construction going on one side so was noisy. Some facilities like pool are shared with neighboring hotel. No air conditioning, but was cool enough at noise with all windows open."
