"The kitchenette rooms are lovely and spacious with good facilities. Beds are huge and super comfy, TV was massive! Room was clean and quiet. Staff both at reception and at the breakfast were very friendly and made you feel at ease. Breakfast was especially good with lots of nice options, you don’t feel rushed to get in and out so you can really take your time in there. A lovely stay."

"Check in was easy. Our bedroom and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The evening meal in the restaurant was poor. There was no ice for our drinks from the bar beforehand. My husband’s meal of fish goujons and chips was undercooked. At breakfast the mixed fruit berries hadn’t fully defrosted, the sausages had been undercooked and the fruit juices were awful. Stay, but don’t eat here!"

"Well located for shops and both Exeter Main and St. Davids railway stations. My room was compact but well thought out and well equipped. It was great to have a light next to the bed which you could turn off/on easily and the shower was good. Breakfast was first class, beautifully served and coffee one of the best. I would have liked more savoury options for the breakfast but that is just a small preference. Host was really helpful and very welcoming. I would stay here again."

"The room and hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff were nice but not the most helpful when I called before our stay. It took two phone calls to find out if there was somewhere to eat on a Sunday evening. Breakfast was quite nice. Evening meal in the Bistro was very average. The coffee in the room was nescafe instant sachets which was very disappointing for 4* hotel, and the decaf at breakfast was also nescafe instant. However, the price we paid was very good. "Lovely stop on the way to Cornwall. Gorgeously comfortable bed and linen. We arrived exhausted from a long transatlantic flight with 2 cats and the owner was so kind to us. She saved our bacon as we honestly could not have driven further! Superb breakfast and we will definitely return 💜"
