"The location is perfect in Tahoe City, right across the street from The Commons. It was close to great food, drinks and bakery’s. I stayed in room 8, which was on the top floor. "I would expect much more from a quality inn. This place was the worst I ever stayed. Part of the building outside my room was destroyed. The smoke detector was missing. No tissue, terrible wifi and no cell service. Pools was down, no breakfast. Room and furniture was gross. I would not recommend staying here."

"The property was slightly older, very well maintained and clean. Daily room service. The pool and hot tubs were both very clean and never crowded. The best part is the view is excellent! Choose the lake view! Close to lots of shops and restaurants. Right across the road from a small lake access!

"Staff was very responsive to any concerns or needs. The facilities are dated with exterior peeling paint and soil matted hall carpets. These are features and challenges of maintaining property in wintery snow environments.However this is summertime. When our room filled with smells of smoke from a nighttime possible fire, we tried to call the front desk but the phone wouldn't work. My wife went to ask at the desk. She flipped on the room entry light to leave, but the light was out.

"Staff was very friendly they just didn’t have enough. We tried to get towels to our room and they couldn’t get to us . We offered to get them but they kept saying they were coming and never did. Valet parking attendant wasn’t there . They had to call security but waited long time however they were very nice . Hotel has lots of construction so made it hard . The rooms are so hot and so is hotel the air was not cooling areas down ."

"We traveled as a family the rooms closest to the Main Street were so loud on the weekends with car noise and the bar across the road and it’s dance club music . that we requested a room at the back of the hotel.
